In 1912 a jeweller's was founded in Grotte di Castro that was destined to last. More than a century, indeed, further establishing itself over the years in the luxury jewellery and timepiece sector.
Giuseppe Menichelli founded the store, and gave his name to what would become a reference point for lovers of beautiful things.
Over the years the passion for this craft was passed down in the family. In 1932 his son Mario Menichelli moved to Montefiascone, expanding the range of products to include unique jewellery collections, with period jewellery and silverware.
After many years of experience in the field, father and son Franco and Alessandro Menichelli opened a store in Viterbo in 1996, selling the most prestigious haute horlogerie and jewellery brands. Outstanding names included Rolex, Omega, Bulgari and Damiani, to name just a few.
The Menichelli family is opening a second store dedicated to Swatch in 2022 to keep in touch with the new fashion-conscious generation. Eight years later the store would become the firm's second outlet, alert to the new trends of the time while maintaining high standards of quality and excellence.
In addition to jewellery, Menichelli provides all its customers with its after-sales service and its workshops certified by Rolex and Omega, among others, run by highly specialised technicians for any repair or servicing needs. A further feather in the store's cap is collaboration with highly skilled goldsmiths devoted to creating of unique and inimitable jewellery.
